December 28th, 2007 The Old Town Amateur Radio Cruisers is formed.
December 28th, 2007 The Amateur Radio Repeater Geezers United Society governing body and Bylaws have been adopted for the OTARC.
December 28th, 2007 www.otarc.com is established and on-line.
December 28th, 2007 FRN established.
December 28th, 2007 Club License applied for.
December 29th, 2007 Permission for Repeater at Old Town conveyed.
December 29th, 2007 Equipment meeting
with member KE4TTE during the "Saturday Nite Cruise©"
December 31st, 2007 KJ4BGM issued by the FCC to the OTARC.

January 4th, 2008 Repeater Coordination applied for

January 14th, 2008 Vanity call sign modification requested and paid for.
February 1st, 2008
KJ4BGM call replaced by the N4OTC Vanity Call Sign issued today by the FCC.
March 1st, 2008: Still awaiting approval for the placement of the Clubs repeater.
March 1st, 2008 Still awaiting Coordination from The FRC for the Repeater.
March 2nd, 2008: In reply from FRC, the Coordination should be coming soon.
March 16th, 2008 The Florida Repeater Council granted the 444.725 MHZ pair to be implemented for this machine. Coordination record #1313 today. We now have 90 days to get this on the air.
April 29th, 2008 Repeater Coordination applied for
443.925 pair.
May 14th, 2008 Ian, G4ZPZ and Sue 2E1SUE loaned a Vertex VX5000 Repeater and duplexer to this project, Thank You. Echolink Node for N4OTC-R 371453 established.
May 30th, 2008 The Florida Repeater Council denied the 443.925 Pair.
June 28th, 2008 We kicked off the Club during the Saturday Nite Cruise and had our own "Field Day" and HAM radio awareness to all that were on the streets. Click here for story and Photos.
July 16th, 2008 The OTARC has adopted the "Wednesday Cruise-In during the "Rock at the Clock" event at Old Town. Join us any Wednesday to see what we are all about.
August 29th, 2008: The repeater is now on the air in Testing and Adjusting mode, hope to have on air 24/7 by the end of September.
September 6th, 2008:
Our first testing session was this morning at Old Town, Kissimmee, Florida. 2 out of 2 candidates achieved Element 2 . Laura NO4OO, Larry WA3PGL and K4SLB Steve were the examiners.
September 9th, 2008 The FCC issued the call signs KJ4GNH to Emil and KJ4GNI to Mike, congratulations!

January 3rd, 2009: Our second testing session was held was held this morning at Old Town, Kissimmee, Florida. 2 out of 2 candidates achieved Element 2, Ian, G4ZPZ and Sue 2E1SUE. Laura NO4OO, Larry WA3PGL, Ed, AJ4CM and K4SLB, Steve were the examiners. Linda, K4EIO was instructed on how to set up a session.
January 6th, 2009: Ian, G4ZPZ and Sue 2E1SUE have received their first US call signs, Ian, KJ4ITE and Sue is KJ4ITF, they posted today on the FCC ULS. Congratulations!
October 30th, 2009 Laura, NO4OO, Larry, WA3PGL, Emil, KG4GNH, Linda, K4EIO and Me, K4SLB managed to get the 20 pipe and GP-9 on to the wooden tower, for photos click here.

November 4th, 2009 Laura, NO4OO, Larry, WA3PGL, Ted, KE4TTE, Linda, K4EIO and Me, K4SLB finished getting the hard-line run into the building for repeater, for photos click here.
November 6th, 2009 The FRC was notified of the Frequency change on line today. We should hear something with in the next 15 days.
November 7
th, 2009 Ted, KE4TTE, Emil, KG4GNH, Linda, K4EIO and Me, K4SLB managed to get Ted's 442.100 Vertex Repeater in it's cabinet up in it's new placement and the repeater on the air for photos click here.
November 28th, 2009 The 442.100 repeater is now linked to the N4ARG 147.210 (Kissimmee) and the N4HHA 443.400 (Orlando MCO) repeater via the ARRG.UStar 2k9 Controller and it shares the IRLP Node 4338 and the 47210 EchoLink node along with it's own node 371453. Please leave long pauses between overs so that all of the electronics can sync.
December 10th, 2009 A new coordination for the repeater has been filled once again with the FRC. Seems I used the wrong form on the 6th of November and their 15 day response was over 30 days. $20 was donated to the council today.
December 30th, 2009 The Coordination for the 442.100 at Old Town was approved by the Florida Repeater Council.

January 2nd, 2010 Vertex VX5000 Repeater and duplexer was returned to and picked up by Ian, K4ZPZ/G4ZPZ and Scott.
January 10th, 2010
After not hearing the 146.700 on the air for more than 6 months we decided to set up a system on that pair with the intentions of turning it off after any complaints of it's operation by the duly coordinated pair holder.
February 3rd, 2010
Larry, WA3PGL and Dave KF8CI started the initial testing of the 146.700 at Old Town. Steve K4SLB submitted the paperwork for the Coordination of same.
July 9th, 2010
No contact from anyone about the machine on this pair so Steve K4SLB re-submitted the paperwork for the Coordination of the 146.7000.
September 22nd, 2010
Larry, Steve, Ted, Linda & Dave installed the wireless router, above Suite 200, for internet access for the repeater and club members thanks to Cheryl the owner of Wound n' Round.
October 31st, 2010
The controller was repaired on the 146.700 and the router was replaced.

ber 14th, 2010 The Coordination for the 146.700 was approved using the call sign N4GUS
